Offenhauser 8022 Omni Directional 4 Barrel to Holley 2300 High Rise 2″ Adapter

One adapter, the 2300 you want, and the manifold you already have.
The 8022 sits between a Holley 2300-series two-barrel and any square-bore four-barrel intake flange — Offenhauser or any other make. Bolt it to a Holley
4150-pattern or an AFB/Edelbrock-pattern manifold, set your 2300 on top, and you are running the two-barrel you want without changing the intake.

Two inches of rise.
At 2″ the 8022 stands a full half-inch taller than the 1-1/2″ adapters that dominate this class, which puts more volume under the carburetor before the manifold
plenum.

Omni-directional base.
The base is drilled for two square-bore patterns — A.F.B. Quad Adaption B (5-5/8″ × 4-1/4″) and Holley Quad Adaption C (5-5/8″ × 5-1/8″) — through-holes on both,
so one part number covers either manifold, and the plate can be turned before final tightening to bring the throttle lever and fuel bowl around to your linkage and
air cleaner.

Threaded carburetor flange.
The top flange is tapped 5/16″-18, 1/2″ of thread engagement in a 3/8″-thick pad, so the carburetor mounts straight into the adapter on bolts or double-end studs.

• Holley 2300-series two-barrels: 0-7448 (350 cfm), 0-4412 / 0-4412C / 0-4412S (500 cfm)
• Holley 2305-series two-barrels — same mounting flange
• Any other two-barrel built on the Holley 2300 four-stud flange

Not for spread-bore manifolds
Rochester Quadrajet, Carter Thermo Quad and Holley 4165 / 4175 use a spread-bore flange with a different opening. The 8022 is a square-bore part.

Installation notes
Torque the carburetor in a crisscross pattern to 60–80 in-lb, per Holley’s 2300 instruction sheet (199R-7950-7). You are adding 2″ above the manifold, so check
hood clearance with the air cleaner fitted, and check full throttle travel before the first drive.
