The Offenhauser 6271 is a progressive carburetor linkage kit designed to attach to the throttle shafts of three 3-bolt carburetors, such as Strombergs. The linkage attaches directly to the extended throttle shafts. If your carburetor levers are detachable, you can simply install the linkage using the mounting points on the shafts. In some cases, you may need to use a bolt, washer, and nut to secure the rod to the lever, or use an arm adapter if required. The kit is not suitable for Rochester carburetors, and if you are running those, you would need to look into other solutions, such as those offered by companies like Vintage Speed.
