Offenhauser 3133 Triumph Finned Aluminum Valve Cover for TR6.
Installation and Use:
The Offenhauser 3133 – Triumph TR6 Valve Cover features 2 mounting holes as opposed to the 3 mounting holes found on a stock cover. The increased rigidity of a cast aluminum part over a piece of stamped metal eliminates the need for 3 mounting holes. To install the valve cover simply unscrew the center stud from the head. This stud is only meant to hold the stamped valve cover and has no effect on the rocker arm shaft.
For omitting the hose, we recommend use of a twist in breather cap, as well as plugging the intake where the hose would connect. If the engine exhibits significant blow by you may also consider installing a catch can.
To continue using the outlet hose you may either drill and tap the side of the cover -OR- purchase a twist in PCV breather with built in baffle.
